Former NASCAR champion Brian Vickers issued a statement on X after documents linked his name to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, a development drawing renewed scrutiny of past associations. The 42-year-old referenced the Jeffrey Epstein files and U.S. Department of Justice documents that include emails mentioning him, while asserting he had "nothing to do with the mess left by others." Fox News reported an email believed to be from his ex-wife, Sarah Kellen, that described him as "this NASCAR guy I like," and separate emails with Michael Waltrip Racing discussed sponsorship. Kellen, granted immunity years earlier and subpoenaed last spring, has denied being an accomplice. DOJ materials were released January 30; Vickers last raced in 2016.
