Sarah Ferguson Addresses Memoir Speculation After U.K. Return and Jeffrey Epstein Fallout

Sarah Fergusonis clearing the air on viral speculation that she is working on a tell-all memoir following her return to England.

“There have been no discussions, and she is not writing a personal memoir,” a spokesperson for the former Duchess of York, 66, toldHello!in a Friday, September 25, statement. “It’s not what she’s going to do.”

The denial comes afterThe Sunreported on Thursday, September 24, that Ferguson allegedly received a seven-figure payday to author an autobiography about royal life, her past marriage toAndrew Mountbatten-Windsorand her history with late disgraced financierJeffrey Epstein.

Ferguson, who has written multiple children’s books and romance novels, has not further addressed the rumors.Usreached out for comment.

Ferguson has been lying low after the U.S. Department of Justice released emails in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act late last year, detailing the former duchess’ and her ex-husband’s past associations with Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting his sex trafficking trial.

“The duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been, her first thoughts are with his victims. Like many people, she was taken in by his lies,” Ferguson’s rep told the BBC in September 2025. “As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with pedophilia.”

Amid fallout from the scandal, Ferguson reportedlychecked into a luxury wellness clinicin Switzerland in January. Shereturned to the U.K.last month, though it’s unclear how long she stayed at the retreat.
