The Ohio State University doctor who was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars as a consultant for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein appears to have been cleared in a university investigation and will continue practicing medicine in the university's health system.
Dr. Mark Landon, the obstetrics and gynecology department chair at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and a professor in the College of Medicine, made headlines in February for adding yet another Ohio tie to Epstein. Documents among the thousands released by the U.S. Department of Justice earlier this year show that Epstein's New York Strategy Group paid Landon for what Landon later said was biotech investment consulting, among consulting services for other industries.
