Alaskans following the Epstein scandal were recently treated to a rare sight: a congressman showing courage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of ours. In July, U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., proposed the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which would allow victims and state prosecutors to compel further disclosure of the files.
In his announcement, Massie called billionaire Leslie Wexner an Epstein “co-conspirator.” While I choose to withhold judgment regarding the legal guilt of anyone not convicted by a jury, three facts are clear: 1. Wexner gave Epstein control over a huge portion of his vast fortune; 2. Wexner gave $250,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee, or NRSC, in October 2025, a month after Sen. Dan Sullivan and most Senate Republicanssucceeded in blockingan early attempt to release the files; and 3. Wexner is named1,754 timesin the Epstein files released to date.
The NRSC is an important part of Sullivan’s fundraising network, and Wexner made his extraordinary contribution to the NRSC soon after Sullivan’s unfortunate September 2025 vote. And Wexner isn’t the only person from Epstein’s orbit to send help Sullivan’s way after his vote, either. Ever hear of Epstein’s buddy Trump?
