DES MOINES, Iowa -- A bookmobile showing just how massive the Jeffrey Epstein investigation is is spending the week in Des Moines.
Runnells man booked on more than 10 child pornography charges
The Trump-Epstein Reading Room and Bookmobile is parked in the East Village. Inside are more than 3,400 volumes of released files from the sex trafficking investigation. The documents fill the space. The goal is to demand the full release of the remaining files, call for a change in the statute of limitations in civil cases, and to hold the Department of Justice accountable.
There are also 1,400 candles to honor the victims of Epstein's network. Survivor Dani Bensky says this tour shows how much evidence there is in the case.
"Usually a little bit of overwhelm, right, because the sheer volume of it and the magnitude of it isn't really something that you can brace yourself for," Bensky said. "So, a lot of people have that initial reaction of, like, wow, look at how much evidence there is here; why haven't we seen a single investigation? And it's like, yes, now you see what we see, that it's not about politics, it's not about partisan lines, it's absolutely about just getting to the bottom of the truth."
